Alice in Wonderland

And its animals and creatures have special names and live in special houses and they have very special adventures every day of the week.

Robinson Duckworth travelled in a boat, on 4 July 1862,

with the three young daughters of Henry Liddell.
During the trip Dodgson told the girls a story about a little girl Alice who was looking for adventures. The girls liked it, and Alice Liddell asked Dodgson to write it down for her. He began writing the story the next day. The girls and Dodgson took another boat trip a month later, after that he began working hard on the novel in November.
