Слайд 7 The most popular holiday in Great Britain is Christmas. They
celebrate Christmas on the 25th of December. There are a
lot of traditions connected with Christmas. Every year the people of Norway give the city of London a present. It’s a big Christmas tree and it stands in Trafalgar Square. Most families decorate their houses with a Christmas tree; buy presents for the family and friends, write Christmas cards. Children hang stockings at the end of their beds hopping that Farther Christmas will fill them with toys and sweets. The traditional Christmas dinner is roast turkey with vegetables and Christmas pudding.
Слайд 16Dashing through the snow,
In a one-horse open sleigh,
Over the fields
we go,
Laughing all the way.
Bells on bob-tails ring,
Making spirits bright,
What
fun it is to ride
And sing a sleighing song tonight.
Chorus:
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way!
O what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh.
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way!
O what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh.
