Слайд 14School № 3 was opened in 1958 . Gymnasium was
founded on the basis of school №3 in 1991. 46
teachers work there at present. Gymnasium is named after S.V. Kovalevskaya.

Sofia was born on the 15th January,1850, and
died on the 29th of January,1891 .
Sonya had got a
sister Anna and a brother Fyodor. They lived in Polibino not far from Velikie Luki. She was a clever child. She liked to read different books. The girl also wrote poems.

to deserve her parents’ love Sonya studied hard.
