Armstrong was born

in a very poor family; he was the grandson of slaves. In 1922, Louis Armstrong moved to Chicago, where he played for two years in the Creole Jazz Band, and then moved to New York, where he performed as a trumpeter and singer. In 1946, Armstrong creates a jazz band «All Stars», where we see him more as a singer than as a trumpeter.
