Слайд 2We start our excursion from the Technical Secondary School where
Yuri Gagarin studied from 1951 till 1955.
The Technical Secondary School
is named after Yuri Gagarin. There is a museum of the first cosmonaut of the world.
Слайд 3Let’s go down Babushkin Vzvoz and we are at the
monument to Yuri Gagarin which is on the Embankment of
Cosmonauts.The monument was built in 1995. This is a three meters figure of Yuri Gagarin who is looking at the Volga. The Volga was his favourite river.
Слайд 4It is worth to walk along the Embankment 0f Cosmonauts.
Its
building started in 1959. In 1962 it was given a
name of Cosmonauts in honour of Yuri Gagarin.
Слайд 5Let’s walk up Moskovskaya street and take the first turning
to the right. We see the Historical Museum of our
city. There’s a room devoted to Yuri Gagarin.
Слайд 6We think it’s worth to visit Chernyshevski Square and Lipki
Park. They were favourite places of Yuri Gagarin.
Слайд 7Would you like to go by bus to Dubki? There
is an aeroclub there where Yuri Gagarin learned to fly.
Слайд 8Let’s take a bus and go to the Gagarin Field.
This is a place where Yuri Gagarin making one flight
around the Earth landed on the 12 of April, 1961.
