Article 41 (new) 1) The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall be elected in accordance with the constitutional law by the citizens of the Republic on the basis of universal, equal and direct suffrage by secret ballot for a term of five years.

Article 42 (new) 4) The same person may not be elected President of the Republic more than two times in a row. This restriction does not apply to the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Sixty-seven depu­ties shall be elected in constituencies having one mandate

Ten deputies shall be elected on the basis of the Party Lists according to the system of proportional represen­tation and in the territory of a unified national constituency.
