The flag is also called the “ Star-Spangled Banner”, the name of the national anthem of the USA. Americans enjoy their flag. They use the stars and stripes as a popular design anywhere and everywhere, including clothes, shoes, hats.

shops on Fifth Avenue, and the many theatres on Broadway. It interesting to know that the land was bought from the local Indians by the Dutch for 24 dollars. Now this is American‘s cultural capital, and its biggest city, with the population of 8 million. There 5 districts in New York: Brooklyn, the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens and Richmond. Only one of them, the Bronx, is not on an island.

It has 102 floors and is 448 metres high. There are 2 observation platforms: one – on the 86th and the other on the 102nd floor.
