Nikolai Mikhailovich Amosov (1913-2002) was a Soviet scientist, heart surgeon, and writer, born on December 6, 1913.

Слайд 3From the age of 12 to 18, he studied in
Cherepovets, at school, then at the mechanical technical school, graduated
from it and became a mechanic.
Слайд 4In 1935, he entered the Arkhangelsk medical Institute and graduated
with honors in 1939. I wanted to study physiology, but
the only available places in graduate school were in surgery. In parallel, he studied at the correspondence industrial Institute and in 1940 also received an engineering degree with honors.

he worked as a hospital surgeon in Cherepovets. He worked
in the mobilization Commission, and after a while was appointed chief surgeon In a field mobile hospital. After that, he worked as a surgeon in Moscow.

on the topic "lung Resection in tuberculosis" and headed the
Department at the Kiev medical Institute.

the Supreme Soviet of the USSR. Since 1969-academician of the
Ukrainian Academy of Sciences.
