Aims and Objectives

Why are we doing this seminar?

Our Safety Seminar is a comprehensive safety-training experience for individuals responsible for the care and safety of the ships we run, the marine environment and the cargo and personnel we carry.

The seminar has a diverse curriculum designed to give Attendees information and new ideas that best suit the needs of our constantly changing industry.

Precious safety information is carried home and shared with colleagues and co-workers back on the job. Attendees also build long-lasting relationships with instructors and their counter-parts across the globe.

This invaluable net-working opportunity enables the exchange of information between people performing the same functions at distant locations, with a common goal.

The Seminar has a distinguished panel of speakers comprised of company representatives and guest speakers with both lecture and workshop sessions that will surely serve to round off any individual's experience with the Company.

Topics to be discussed include an overview of 2018 statistics and KPIs, Company future planning, Operational aspects, Cybersecurity, D&A Policy, MRV & Energy Efficiency, Resilience, Sailing in the Arctic Challenges, 3 Incident Case Studies, Managing Culture Diversity and an overview of Company Shipping Management Application (SMA) orientation.
