after the predicate forms a complex object. 

Инфинитив в сочетании с существительным в именительном падеже или местоимением в объектном падеже (me, you, him, her, it, us, them) образует инфинитивный оборот «Сложное дополнение»

to expect (ожидать), would like (хотел бы).
Translate the sentences into

Russian.
I want you to learn English.
We expect you to be on time.
He would like me to play tennis.
I didn’t want my sister to phone him.
Mum would like her son to become a doctor.
I would like you not to invite John to the party.

(видеть), to watch (наблюдать), to feel (чувствовать), to notice (замечать)

инфинитив употребляется без частицы to.
Также инфинитив употребляется без частицы to после глаголов to make (заставлять) и to let (разрешать) в активном залоге.
Однако в аналогичных пассивных конструкциях после глаголов to make (заставлять) и to let (разрешать) частица to употребляется. Глагол to let в пассивных конструкциях не употребляется, вместо него используется глагол to allow.
