the year under the name “Gazeta.ru” to serve the interests

of the Effective Policy Fund (FEP), headed by Gleb Pavlovsky. The software mechanism (engine) of the publication was created by Maxim Moshkov based on the code of his Lib.ru project. Six months later, in September, the Gazeta.ru brand was sold to Yukos, which made another publication based on it.
