It is expected that when construction will be over in 2014 it will be the highest building in Shanghai, the first by height in China and third in the world freely standing building, second only to the Heavenly tree Tokyo which is 634m and the tower Burj Khalifa (828m) in Dubai.
3 August 2013 the Shanghai tower was completed up to the roof level.

Burj Dubai. It’s height is 829.8 m. It is not only

the tallest building in the world, but the highest ever existed. There are a hotel, flats, offices and shopping centers inside of it. The Burj Khalifa is a key element of a new business centre in Dubai. It was built in 6 years. The form of the building resembles a stalagmite (mineral stones).
