Study Museum. The number of exhibits on display is over

60000. The halls of the Museum acquaint its visitors with collections of documents, armoury, coins, clothes, furniture. In biological halls you can see fine collections of insects, stuffed animals and the fanna of the Belgorod region. The Museum brings to life Belgorodia’s history.

The canvas of the diorama is 67 metres long and 15 metres high, and it has an area of 1. 005 square metres. A group of outstanding battle-painters, such as N.Y. Boot. G.K. Sevostjanov, V.N. Shcherbakov and M.A. Sychov, took part in creating the canvas.

The Kursk Bulge Diorama Museum

attracts attention not only the guests but also the inhabitants of Belgorod. It is a traditional place of reteran’s meetings.

26, 1983. It is one of the youngest Art museum

of Russia. It is situated in a building of the first city cinema “Orion”, which was built in 1910 in the center of Belgorod. It was founded by artist M. Dobronravov (1904-1979) a citizen of Belgorod. The wife of artist gifted to the museum 243 works of her husband. The exhibition of the Art museum contains 3000 works of paintings, graphics, sculpture and applied art.
