1) Вопросы в косвенной речи обычно образуются при помощи

глагола ASK.
“How do you know this?”
She asked me how I

knew that.

2) Если вопрос в прямой речи начинается с вопросительного слова (who, where, how, when, what etc), вопрос в косвенной речи начинается с ТОГО ЖЕ вопросительного слова.

«Where do you live?»

She asked me where I lived.

Если вопрос в прямой речи НЕ ИМЕЕТ вопросительного слова, то вопрос в косвенной речи образуется при помощи IF/WHETHER

“Did you know this?”

She asked me if / whether I had known that.

3) В вопросах в косвенной речи порядок слов как в утверждении (Подлежащее + Сказуемое)

“Have you seen Ann today?

She asked him if he had seen Ann that day.
