human beings. The most common cause of extinction is loss of habitat — the places where wild animals and plants live are taken over or altered by people. Every ten minutes one kind of animal, plant or insect dies out forever. If nothing is done about it, one million species that are alive today may soon become extinct. We need to raise the level of environmental education of citizens of Ukraine ,to introduce large material fines for damage to the environment, both for industry and for ordinary people. Fortunately, it's not too late to solve these problems.
