the XIX century, one of the most famous places of Lermontov in Russia. Manor of the poet’s beloved grandmother, Elizaveta Arsenieva, nee Stolypinoy. In Tarkhany Lermontov spent his childhood years. The estate is located in the village of Lermontovo (previously, this village was called “Tarkhany”) of the Belinsky district of the Penza region. The official name is the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Culture "Lermontov State Museum-Reserve" Tarkhany ". 17 km south-west of the village. Lermontov in the town of Belinsky is a museum-estate of VG Belinsky.

has about 29 thousand units of storage, of which the main fund is 14.5 thousand units. In the House of Klyuchnik there are expositions devoted to the atmosphere in which Lermontov lived in his childhood (scenes from the Russian folk life). Video tours are organized in the People’s Hut, dedicated to his two works - the poem “Borodino” and “Song about Tsar Ivan Vasilyevich, a young oprichnik and daring merchant Kalashnikov” (dedicated to the morals of the times of Ivan the Terrible).
