The Russian Federation is a multinational country; over 160 nationalities live in Russia. Russian is the official language of Russia but there are many other languages. Most of the Russian people live in the western parts of the country. Here are the most part of the largest Russian cities such as Moscow, St Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Samara and Omsk.

Russia. The country is famous for its many places of

interest. One of the Russian national riches is its nature. There are many rivers, lakes, mountains, and forests in Russia. We also have cultural riches. Red Square, the Moscow Kremlin, Saint Basil’s Cathedral, the Winter Place, the Peter and Paul Fortress, the Hermitage Museum are the most famous Russian attractions.
The fame of Russia is great in such areas as science, culture, art and sports. The Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin became the first man to go into outer space! Speaking of Russian history, we must say that Russia formed the great part of it. At all times, the Russian people were respected for their strong character. I’m very proud to live in such great country.
