No one really knows who invented gloves but necessity probably was the 'mother of invention' .
From Old English glōf, from Proto-Germanic *galōfō (“hand”). A glove is  an item of clothing other than a mitten, covering all or a part of the hand and fingers, but allowing independent movement of the fingers.

most ancient gloves have been found in the tomb of

King Tutankhamen.
The Assyrians wore gloves as a symbol of their power.
King Cyrus the Great put his people to death just because they showed up to him without gloves.
The Greeks put on the gloves while eating. They used to eat with fingers so gloves helped them to keep their hands safe.
